Once upon the Barangay Ibabao is a  sitio of Barangay Panlautan, due to political situation, the Punong Barangay decided to separate and it makes Barangay Ibabao, the word “IBA” is come from the fruit og iba and “BAO” it means to obey the kabisa de Barangay, and it from like a sock and the Barangat Ibabao in betwen the four neighboring Barangay Cang-ite, Panlautan, Lambojon and Tacdog.
